Something as simple as switching your pallet vendor can have a HUGE impact on global forest conservation. According to Rainforest Trust, that $30,000 could protect as much as 6,000 acres of tropical forest annually — that’s over 9 square miles!
Spend $50,000 on Wood Packaging annually? Your company doesn’t want to donate directly? That’s OK, because of our 1% pledge, switching your pallet vendor can still have an impact of $500 annually, saving precious acres of rainforest land. According to Rainforest Trust, many of their “projects protect forests for as little as $5-10 per acre!” Protecting tropical forests is one of the best ways each of us can leave a lasting impact for future generations. That $500 could protect as much as 100 acres of tropical forest annually, and it doesn’t cost you anything!

- Rainforest Alliance
- For more than 35 years, Rainforest Alliance has advanced biodiversity conservation and sustainable farming practices around the world. They have certified over 6 Million Hectares of farmland against their sustainability standards, particularly important in tropical farming regions for products such as Banana, Cocoa, Coffee, Tea, and Hazelnut. An example of their work is 12 community forestry concessions safeguarding around 417,000 hectares of the largest tropical forest north of the Amazon, the Guatemala’s Maya Biosphere Reserve.
