At Wisconsin Lumber & Pallet, we are passionate about providing innovative wood packaging solutions that not only meet the needs of businesses but also contribute to a more sustainable future. With almost 2 decades of experience in the industry, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for companies seeking cost-effective, environmentally-friendly packaging options.

Wood packaging is an environmentally friendly, renewable, and sustainable form of packaging. It’s even been called “Nature’s Packaging” for a reason. We believe that when used efficiently, wood packaging is better than steel or plastic packaging.

Our Strategy

Save Money.

We can save money through thoughtful redesign, but also by intelligent sourcing from local manufacturers that are reliable and efficient at building what you need. This waste reduction strategy saves money.

Save Trees.

A small design change can have a significant impact not only on cost, but also by consuming less of this precious natural resource – trees. This is why we offer free packaging redesign for our customers. We also donate a minimum of 1% of sales to tree conservation charities. Save Time.

We have the industry connections and knowledge to take care of the lengthy bidding process for you.  You want to save money, and we know wood packaging and the best sources in the industry. Let us provide you with a competitive quote that will almost always save you time and money. If we can’t save you money, we will negotiate with your current vendor to reduce pricing on your behalf.

Maximize Profit.

We work tirelessly to save money, save trees, and save time, but in the end… shareholders want to see it on the financial statement.  Our customers choose to work with us for the cost savings at first, but we’re glad they choose to stay and make a positive impact on the future of the planet as well.

Our Story

In 2008, Ryan Ziegler joined a medium-sized wood packaging manufacturer in Southeast Wisconsin. Over 16 years, Ryan played pivotal roles in the company’s growth, contributing to operational leadership and expansion across three states through multimillion-dollar acquisitions. However, after the company was sold to private equity twice, Ryan found himself misaligned with its evolving values.

With gratitude for the opportunities and lessons learned, and a lot of faith, Ryan decided it was time to forge his own path. Thus, Wisconsin Lumber & Pallet was founded.

Drawing from years of industry experience navigating recessions, market fluctuations, and supply challenges, Ryan gained insights into lean manufacturing, supply chain integration, and innovative packaging design. Leveraging this expertise, Wisconsin Lumber & Pallet was established to deliver wood packaging solutions that prioritize efficiency, sustainable practices, and unparalleled customer service.

At Wisconsin Lumber & Pallet, we recognize the critical link between forests and wood packaging. While North American forests thrive under responsible management, tropical regions face alarming deforestation rates. By choosing Wisconsin Lumber & Pallet (and our 1-2-3 Conservation Program), every purchase contributes to local and global reforestation efforts, aligning business success with environmental stewardship.

Their efforts have led to the protection of over 20 million acres of habitat worldwide. Rainforest Trust has consistently received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, reflecting their commitment to transparency and effective use of funds. Their mission aligns with our dedication to tree conservation and environmental stewardship, making them a primary beneficiary of our support.

  • This charity is rated 100% on charitynavigator.com

  • FY2023 = 45 Million in revenue.

Archangel Ancient Tree Archive

They have been involved in various initiatives, including partnerships with educational institutions to teach students about native tree propagation and planting. Their dedication to environmental conservation aligns with our commitment to preserving tree biodiversity, making them a primary beneficiary of our support.
