    • For more than 35 years, Rainforest Alliance has advanced biodiversity conservation and sustainable farming practices around the world. They have certified over 6 Million Hectares of farmland against their sustainability standards, particularly important in tropical farming regions for products such as Banana, Cocoa, Coffee, Tea, and Hazelnut. An example of their work is 12 community forestry concessions safeguarding around 417,000 hectares of the largest tropical forest north of the Amazon, the Guatemala’s Maya Biosphere Reserve.
